A. Catholic Social Teaching

  1. The dimension of justice in Christian faith.

  2. A bird's eye view of the evolution of Catholic social teaching in the past hundred years.

  3. Fundamentals of Catholic social teaching and the trend of the times.

  4. A thorough study on Gaudium et Spes.

  5. An introductory study on the social thinking of Popes John XXIII, Paul VI and John Paul II.

B. Towards a Just Society

  1. Human rights and human dignity.

  2. From sharing of wealth to business ethics.

  3. Give to God which belongs to Caesar: the political concept of the Church.

  4. Reconstruction or revolution: A study on violence.

C. Special Topic: Sino-Vatican relationship and the special role of the Catholic Church in Hong Kong.

D. Mission of the Church

  1. Preferential option for the poor.

  2. Towards a global village.
