PM102 Spirituality for Ministry (2 Credits)

Description:

The Second Vatican Council has reaffirmed that all are called to holiness and to witness through service of God's world. This course examines the shape of Christian spirituality that supports the Christian vocation. Class sessions will draw on current biblical scholarship, the rich heritage of Catholic spirituality, and the resources of psychological and cultural research. Attention will be given to the particular contexts of ministry in which the student participants are currently engaged. The goal is deeper appreciation of Christian ministry as a setting in which Christian discipleship matures.
