Description:
In this course we will study the classical proofs of the existence of God in Western Philosophy (St. Anselm's ontological argument and St. Thomas' five ways) and Kant's critique. We will investigate the proofs and the critique from the viewpoint of contemporary philosophy and explore the different ways of approaching the question of God today.
