The aims of the course are:

1. In light of the Federation of Asian Bishops? Conferences Documents, to understand the changing faces of Asia and the mission of the Church

2. To study the contextual attempt of Aloysius Pieris in an Asian context

3. To pinpoint the foundation and related issues of an Asian theology of liberation
